Can you unlock my Sprint phone?
I’m sorry. We can not unlock any Sprint device. In most cases you will want to ask a service to FLASH your “CDMA” device to work with a specific new CDMA carrier. CDMA devices are not controlled by a SIM CARD even if they have one available. CDMA carriers are Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, and reseller or subsidiaries such as Boost Mobile, TracPhone, and Virgin Mobile. There are also services that accept CDMA or GSM phones such as Straight Talk and Red Pocket. We do not offer recommendations to any particular FLASH service and recommend that you ask someone at the service you are trying to move to. Most likely you do not need to unlock with Sprint, you need to FLASH to a specific new carrier. If you believe you need an unlock with Sprint, please contact them directly. https://www.sprint.com/legal/unlocking_policy.html
Can’t I just get this code from my carrier for free?
The short answer is yes. But that is contingent on the corporate policies of the original carrier and the contracts they have with manufacturers. Ask your carrier first for a free unlock. If they can not, then most likely we can help with a paid service. Most of our referrals come from carrier customer service and sales reps that want to try to make their customers happy when the only available option is by having the phone's owner purchase the unlock through a third party.
