NEW Samsung Troubleshooting

PLEASE NOTE:

1:  Please be sure you are using the original factory software.  (Any rooted or cracking software will interfere.)  So if you have cracked / hacked / rooted your phone, or purchased a phone without realizing that it was hacked, then you will want to perform a factory reset.  Once the phone is unlocked, it will be unlocked permanently, so you’re welcome to do whatever you want to it afterwards.

A: To reset your phone to default factory settings:
– Press and hold the following button:
– Volume up + Power + Home
– This will bring up a small menu
– Using the volume keys navigate to “Wipe data/Factory reset”
– This option should restore your mobile to its default settings.

2: Please be sure that the IMEI you get when typing in *#06# is the same as the IMEI under your battery. Sometimes people will buy a device with the IMEI illegally altered. After factory reset, it must be EXACTLY the same as the IMEI in your order.  The code you received is matched to the device IMEI + carrier.

3:  Be sure that your phone has been ACTIVATED with the original phone service AT LEAST ONCE.  Then insert your new activated sim card.

4:  Follow Instructions Below as necessary.

Please try the troubleshooting steps below

Advanced method 1:

1:  Ask for “alternate” codes for your phone.  This often happens if you’re unlocking a phone by a sub-provider such as MetroPCS. (Now owned and on Tmobile Network)

2:  Once you get the codes.  Insert a non accepted simcard, and enter code when prompted for a code.

3:  Enter (Defreeze then Network) and (Defreeze then Provider) and (Defreeze then Sub Provider.)

Advanced method 2:

1. Make sure that the phone PROMPTS for the code with a NON accepted sim card and that your IMEI is correct by dialing *#06#

a. Go to the Dial pad and dial *#197328640#

b. Please click on number [1] UMTS > [1] Debugging screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] NETWORK LOCK

c. You will see 3 options

d. Please click on number [1] Perso Sha256 INFO, the screen will change slightly

e. Please hit the MENU button then when the menu pops up please carefully hit BACK to return to the previous screen

f. Next Please click on number [2] Perso Sha256 ON, the screen will change again to a one line message

g. Restart the phone on the screen by holding the power button and click RESTART

h. When the phone prompts for the unlock code simply enter the unlock code provided to you

i. Your phone is now permanently unlocked!

 

Advanced Method 3:
1. Insert a foreign sim card (the sim card which is not supported with your phone)
2. The phone should ask for an unlock code
3. Enter Unfreeze or Defreeze code ( unsuccessful message may appear )
4. Enter NCK or Network code
Your phone is now unlocked

Advanced Method 4:
If your phone does not ask for an unlock code:
1. Turn on the phone with original Sim card or without Sim card
2. Enter #7465625*638*NCK/Network#  (the first code you received from us)
Your phone is now unlocked.

Advanced Method 5:
If your phone does not ask for an unlock code:
1. Turn on the phone with a foreign (Unaccepted) sim card
2. Then enter the following sequence:
#0199*Unfreeze/Defreeze#
#0111*NCK/Network#
#0121*SCK/Subprovider#
#0133*SPCK/Provider#
Your phone is now unlocked.
